If Microsoft Store is not showing on your Windows 10 start menu, it may be accidentally removed from your computer. In order to add the application back on, you need to run Powershell as an administrator. Here are the steps to get the Windows Store app back:

  • Click Windows Icon
  • Type “PowerShell” and right-click to PowerShell icon on top
  • Select “Run As Administrator” option on right click menu
  • Run the following command:
    Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
  • Microsoft store application should be restored.
  • Sign out or restart your computer if you still can’t see that.
